Dear Magnet Community,

It is with extreme pride that I write this letter to you as the newly appointed Principal of the Union County Magnet High School for Science, Mathematics, and Technology. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead the school in which I have been a part of, since its inception in 1997. I look forward to providing the leadership necessary to continue the high-level of excellence that has become a Magnet tradition.

In my previous roles as mathematics teacher and teaching supervisor at the Magnet High School, I have been proud to have contributed to its growth and successes in the last 22 years.  I will continue to work with our dedicated teachers, staff, parents, students, and community members to strengthen both our vocational and academic curricula through authentic, real-world experiences. As a school community we are committed to pursuing our goals with the highest of academic integrity, as well as with personal and social responsibility.

As your Principal, it is important for me to work in collaboration with all of our stakeholders in achieving our mission. I recently met with our students in “Meet the New Principal” assemblies during co-curricular. I am also looking forward to working closely with our Parent School Association and our Advisory Board in the upcoming weeks.
